I am amazed he’s not been snapped up by someone - there must be more to it! Maybe his attitude is a bit off kilter? He looked Premier League quality at Fulham and his dead ball delivery and crossing generally is generally pretty good and he has an eye for a goal. I think he’d be an upgrade on Ayew.

I wonder if this is a case of Palace want a set price at the end of the loan and his parent club do not want to sell or they are asking for a silly price or even a must buy at the end for this amount. Other issue is we see this with SP all the time he takes ages constantly trying to bring prices down and then messes about with player contracts doing the same by this time you are at the end of the window This guy is well worth it if they value him at 20m pay the 3-4m in loan and see how it goes with that as fee if we want him. 3-4m is nothing really we paid this years ago when we loaned Wilf back before buying

Of course perhaps Lookman doesn’t fancy Palace. So much seems to go on behind the scenes with transfers, that never gets reported. Just seen doombear’s post, if player doesn’t fit for whatever reason it’s a no-go and quite rightly so Edited by Spiderman (27 Aug 2021 7.03am)
