I agree that we'd need Kouyate in there too against physical sides, but having Gallagher, Hughes and DVB competing for two spots and having the option to bring one of them off the bench will give us something extra.

I agree. Although Van De Beek would give us more options we need strengthening elsewhere. Ward has been a great servant for the club but has been shown vulnerable recently. I was really impressed by McNamara from Millwall when we played them in the FA Cup.
