But humane slaughter is an oxymoron You know perfectly well I'm referring to provenance rather than some kind of urban hunter gathering. You are entitled to your opinion, your lifestyle and your dietary choices. But there is nothing you can say or do (or point me to on YouTube) to convince me to give up mine. And before you ask, yes I have seen an animal killed before subsequently having it for dinner that night - the only thing wrong with that was it probably should have been hung for a couple of days.

No, land use for feeding an equivalent no of vegans is less than 20% of current use. We could plant up billions of acres of nut, apple, pear, cherry trees. Good for the environment on so many levels.
22 years eating a vegan diet. Perfectly happy and healthy on it. |

Well treated animals are really costly in terms of environmental sustainability. Poorly treated animals are a stain on humanity. A vegan diet cares for animals, the environment and is good for our health. Are you getting 10 portions of Veg and fruit a day?

Right, off home to cook lamb chops and sausages with roast potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, green beans and a few gallons of gravy (oh look, some veg there)

Your choice to be vegan but don't try and force it on others like loads of vegans do because if you do I will find you and force feed you some morleys chicken. You will thank me for it after.

Yeah, why care? It's only your health? You can buy some better health later. oh no, you can't. There is absolutely no scientific proof that 10 portions of fruit and veg are more healthy than 5. Even 5 was an arbitrary number. 10 portions of fruit would, for many people put them over their caloric requirements. Not exact healthy. This chap loves his veg though Attachment: IMG_4938.JPG (143.28Kb)
