He had very few personally prefered options other than appointing Roy. He HAD to. And what has Roy shown him, us, everybody? That class is permanent - form is temporary. Roy has been pure class in EVERYTHING he has said and done at this club. Parish didn't pick that. Give me a break please.

To be fair Parish was probably thinking class is permanent when he appointed FdB and that his Italian job was just a blimp.... Hindsight is so wonderful a thing. He got that appointment wrong and in record time resolved it. He gets zero credit for that though....
