Another position which needs strengthening is central midfield, and Wharton has improved a lot this season and is only 19. It made such a difference having Gallagher last season.. McArthur has been a great player for the club but age and fitness issues have at last caught up with him. I think we need a Gallagher type player and we definitely need a young dynamic box to boxer. Whether Wharton is the answer I don't know but we do need a Gallagher type player. I'm assuming Gallagher himself is too bedded in at Chelsea now and would be way too expensive.

We'll be splashing the cash left, right and center. We'll probably outbid West Ham on every transfer target. We've decided it's the Everton model for us.
