I'm disappointed that the 'Judge' is no longer with us. As far as I could see he was a bloody good poster. I agree with you Stirling - people disappear from here quicker than Kim Jong-il's relatives. Judged to be too non-PC presumably.

The point 'racism' judgement should be careful ground. I've been called a racist on Hol by several posters.....I've also called one poster a racist and another an antisemitic......While I've also at one point been called....rather amusingly antisemitic myself. I think it's at best avoided unless you are very sure.....Sometimes people just say stupid stuff....To really know you need time in debates.....Also....rather importantly you need to be fair minded yourself....Not common with some once the blood is up.
Call yerself a racist? Lovely friendly black family moves in next door and you'd be inviting them around to yer BBQ in no time and chewing the fat. To be a proper racist you'd have to harangue them and make them feel as uncomfortable as possible even though they have done nothing wrong. Call yerself a racist? Bollocks!

At a bar Friday I found myself favouring service from the black south Londoner over the Eastern European and found myself taking more pity on the old English homeless guy on London Bridge rather than the group of foreign beggars who limp up and down the bridge. Not that I gave money to either, as to be selective would be racist.

The subject of migrants is a contentious one for sure but If people will put forward a set of opinions and or present data to support them then it is surely reasonable to challenge that with a differing position if only for the sake of playing devils advocate at least. Surely we are not seeing political bias by the mods are we ?
