I have been to Australia. My daughter lives there. You had a little dig at if i go to matches. I live in france, so i guess i went to as many matches as you did before you (had to?) jeave Australia.

I dont do facebook, but from the people i have read on these boards and from the odd match i do get to, most people (i know) are happy with and support Wayne Hennessy.

I didn't have to leave. It's a poor joke that (never left)Bexley Dave rolls out from time to time. I never meant to stay in Sydney. Just did for a number of years having a great time. Everyone has to grow up some time though.
If you did Facebook you might be aware that the stories that you get in your timeline are pulled to you through AI and this is all based in some part on the things you like and the views that you hold. Filtered news based around things you have liked and opinions you have shared basically. This is similar to the illusion that you have created in real life about most people being happy with Wayne. Because that is certainly not what I'm seeing/hearing.

Getting back to the subject Hennessy isn't that bad. He isn't world class but I'd rather we spent the available funds on other positions like in defence or up front.

A great defence can mask an average keeper. A great keeper can save an average defence.

Don't agree, because you said on this forum that mandanda a great goalie yet most of us agree Aug-Jan , the defence was shocking.

Never said he was great. He came with a fantastic CV. Never got a chance to get going or prove what he could do for us. Others just jumped on his back from the word go and then tried to justify him as not being good enough because his wife didn't want to stay in London.
i must say that I wasn't as concerned about Wayne being in goal when we had the freak of nature Sakho in front of him. He was so good he lifted the whole team let alone the defence. We won't find a freak of nature like him again though. Meaning that the concern levels will be raised again.

It seems the people' who's opinion count ie the recent managers have faith in Wayne.
It doesn't matter how many posts you do claiming all your Palace friends don't rate him, it ain't going to change other people's opinion.
For some strange reason you liked Mandanda, who was vastly overrated and didn't produce one good performance for Palace, not quite worked out why he could do no wrong in your eyes?

Straying off topic again. Let's try and keep this s*** tight.

The main thing is we could of had de gea in goal with pardew in charge and we'd still concede loads. What would you do without this thread. You contributed over 70%.
