Yesterday on Radio 2's Sounds of the Sixties, Bryan Matthew played "Mr Apollo by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band"

First time I've heard it properly.... good lyrics!

Yes it was a musical parody of the Charles Atlas adverts that appeared in the comics of the day

I remember those adverts well.

I don't ever remember going to the seaside and seeing anyone get sand kicked in their face though?
