Personally don't think we will get him this window or at all to be honest but I wouldnt look too much into what Pards has said about no interest. IN football everyone has to say things like that to stop the press running with it almost on a hourly basis and us fans wondering why he hasn't signed yet. Look at what happened at Real Madrid, their president comes out and says there is no problem with Rafa Benitez and then separately said there is no way we will replace Benitez with ZIdane, low and behold, 13 days later Zidane replaces Benitez. Why I don't think we will get him or potentially any of hte others we have been linked with because apart from Cabaye none of our major signings recently have been reported until they are in the door. No one knew who we were after, case in point, where did the Wickham deal come from. No one suspected anything and the next thing you know he is a Palace player, so just watch this space.

I know this is going to sound like rubbish but I've heard from a decent source within Palace that despite AP's insistence that we won't be going for Charlie Austin, we are in negotiations with him and QPR. Gayle and Campbell are getting interest as well and if they go then Austin could well be on his way in.

was on train from london bridge to east croydon...am certain I saw Nugent getting of the overground at Norwood Junction perhaps we are signing him 2...trying to get this thread above 100!! Edited by thegreatlardino (12 Jan 2016 5.36pm)

Entirely believable and I would not be surprised if Gayle went the other way.

Shelvey signed already same with Adobe for Newcastle and Bournemouth respectively wonder how long it will take for palace to sign their forward bet it wont be within 24 hours it usually takes like 6months lol
