Not once has he ever seemed to be interested in coming to us (well that's what it seems from the media as we are forever linked with him) I reckon pardew has just gone....'you know what sod him...if he don't want to come. .he don't want to come.' From the outside (apart from us fans) no one really gets us still....we are still so unpredictable yet rrally exciting and I think players are still a bit nervous coming to us when they would see teams like a Newcastle, West ham and soton a better prospect. I do think though that us getting cabaye is the sort of bench mark pardew is setting for the team and like I said its us palace fans that know what's going on with the club and so if players don't want to come or it doesn't seem right and they want x y and z.....I'd say f*** em. Keep the players that play for the team and add the players that want to be part of this fantastic adventure

Any chance of a swap loan deal with a few £'s involved from us? Austin doesn't want a permanent move as he is waiting for a big pay day in the summer. A chance to play in the prem for 5 months, score a few goals and maybe make the England squad for the Euro's, also enhances his chance of a big move and wouldn't do us any harm if he scores a few. QPR won't get a bean for him in the summer so anything now may seem like a bonus. If it worked he may enjoy himself enough to sign for us anyway. ( not sure if I really want him but just playing devils advocate)

Austin doesn't want a permanent move as he is waiting for a big pay day in the summer. A chance to play in the prem for 5 months, score a few goals and maybe make the England squad for the Euro's, also enhances his chance of a big move and wouldn't do us any harm if he scores a few.

QPR won't get a bean for him in the summer so anything now may seem like a bonus.
