In all seriousness, maybe I have some kind of deluded sense that we should be getting a striker in, but what the hell is going on? Its clear if we don't get some quality in the second half of the season could be a long old slog. I was disappointed after Cabaye signed that we didn't get another marquee signing upfront. We got Wickham, who to be fair whilst not blessed with agility and skill, has done well when not injured, but after the last few games and Wickham's on/off injuries its clear we need a striker who has real quality. After the US investment and our great start to the season lets hope CPFC can pull of a great coup and I hope quiet means that we are conducting our business with stealth and have some fingers in some good pies. Fingers crossed

Surprised he's not signed on loan for a team fighting to stay in the league. Going absolutely nowhere at QPR, and they're still paying him a fortune.
