george burley said his 80% certain that davids is going to join us,would'nt be surprised they've shaken hands on the deal and edgar will be an eagle some time tomorrow.

Also remember, he's made it clear that money is NOT his motivation, so QPR can't even beat us that way. Keep the faith !!

I don't think money will necessarily come into it - Davids would've made enough in his career already. I think playing for a team that plays decent football will be more of a consideration for him. Be great if it comes off though. I know he's well past his best, but i'm in the camp of those that will just be on cloud nine seeing him standing their on Selhurst Park with a Palace top on.....surreal doesn't even go close to explaining what it will be like. Anything else will be a bonus - and I actually think there is a strong argument to suggest this would be a very good thing for so many reasons.

I've not felt this excited since Lomardo signed. Times like this are special for teams like Palace.

Just having him on board would make one hell of a difference, we would be so much more attractive for players to sign with us knowing they could play with him and learn from him

Yeah, you can hear Colin saying to Davids "when you get hold of the ball son, knock it straight up to the big man up top". I'm sure he'd want to finish his career like that!
