Wishing our fans would stop f. Ing about and start hoping we can hold on to our best players for a change and keep our squad for more than one season then we might be the PRemiership club we want to be |

Eden Eagle , if you would be so kind as to pass this onto Isobel ( as long as you approve ). I have been a palace supporter since 1975 , aged 8 , and I have had some of the best memories of my life following them home and away , I have great one's and a couple of not so great one's . Promotion winning , play- offs , wembley 1988 for the centennial matches ( didn't think we would ever get there otherwise ) , semi - finals , finals , Liverpool 9 - 0 , all the winning against Brighton one's ( they are really special haha ) , and I have been all over the country following OUR Palace . But the reason I'm writing this , is to tell you that all these matches and others I haven't mentioned , give me a happy and content feeling , a little warm glow inside when you reminisce , much as YOUR Essay has given me NOW , so I would like to THANK YOU for sharing this with me and others . You are a credit to your family and your Palace family , with a maturity above your age , and I am sure I have learnt something from YOU , which when times are not so good , I will remember your Enlightened Words . Thank You for sharing this story with Me , You are a Ray of Sunshine in a cloudy place .

Thank you so much for writing such a lovely response to my essay. I cannot believe that people are still responding after a year which is great. I am really enjoying watching Palace this year and we have a season ticket in the family stand (The White Horse). Really looking forward to Saturdays game Isobel now aged 12

Think it's time for Izzie's half term report! Nanny Hy!!! (Hy Money) is on the Alan Titchmarsh show today (3-4pm). It's only a brief bit on a conveyor-belt of a show, but a nice bit of exposure, though she's dreading they'll just be all about the technical aspect (when all she really wants to do is talk about Palace)! It's been great re-reading through the thread - so positive and a stark reminder to keep perspective. Hope all's well.
