Superb to see from CPFC2010, considering the events of today. Has the club got any more signings lined up? or is it up to the new manager? Had Burley lost the dressing room? Is the Marrow deal a certainty?

I spoke to george more or less everyday, I have no issues with him , he's a decent hardworking and very nice man, it was difficult t have to tell him as I think its as much my fault as his.

The general consensus on here Steve is that the right decision has been made and with enough time to reverse the way things were going before the season ends. WE mightn't do it but at least now there is a chance. I strongly advise you to look at Paul Tisdale's CV even if just for future reference. The guy has spent just £50,000 on transfer fees in the last four seasons and his teams play football properly. Great with youth players too. I've watched Exeter a lot and the guy is almost God-like down here. He will understand the situation at Palace and turn it around with style given at least 18 months. this is very good of you steve to do this i have not heard of a chairman coming on a website and talking to the fans, i was willing to give george time but after today i turned and he had to go but this also made me a bit down when he actually went today after all we have been through! My question is i know the buck stops with the manager but surely the players need to take a big long look at thereselves did he lose the dressing room because they didnt give a s*** today and all we ask for is a team we pay good money to watch at least play for the shirt!

Hi Steve, Have you already got someone lined up, is there foresight in this decision? Whats happened to our defence? they were previously the strong pont of the team. I do not envy you, I liked Burley it must have been a tough decision.

Do you sometimes wish you hadn't bought the club as when situations like our poor form recently arise you have to listen to fans moaning and think why did I bother? As others have said thank you for everything that you do for us, we hope you know that although we comment on most things to do with Palace we are behind you and comment and question because that is the nature of football fans.
