Is Dougie Freedman in the running for the full time job or is he just taking control of monday's game?

Are you planning to get someone in before our FA cup game next saturday against Coventry or is it a case of wait and see how Dougie does ?

Thank you for your open-ness on this matter. It's much appreciated by all.

Ryan

Hi Steve.

It was a real shame about GB's sacking, although unfortunately it was there for all to see, we just weren't improving at all really were we?

I guess the new manager has time to get a few players in for the last half of the season ...

All I think we need in a manager more than ANYTHING, is a MOTIVATOR. Under Neil Warnock we were always punching above our weight and probably didn't always have the quality but we ALWAYS got results because he was a manager the players wanted to play for and got the best out of. We need someone who's not afraid to give the players a bollocking when needed and one who can deliver a rousing speech!!!!

I'm sure you'll bear this in mind when looking at candidates!

Good luck and thanks!

+1

Chris Hughton gets my vote

Hi Mr. Parish:

Others have already asked questions that I would have asked, so I just want to say thank you for taking the time to answer our inquiries.

Mr Parish has popped off for half an hour or so and will be back soon

Top man for taking time to come on and face us all. I can't imagine too many supporters websites get that kind of service!

Super Stevie P!

For the record I'd be happy with Hughton.

Do you really believe we can stay up?

Middlesbrough will surely pull away with some of the players they've got, scunthorpe have games in hand, and Sheff Utd will fancy their chances as well.

Monday's gonna be a hell of a game . . .

First of all, hope you and the boys had a lvoely christmas and a good new year and have a great 2011.

my questions are.

1) Is dannzy close to signing new contract?
2) whats happening with cadogan and dijialli?
3) who is the new manager going to be?
4) will we be getting le fondre in?

And that will do me for now.

Hope you and the rest of cpfc 2010 have a great 2011.

Hi Steve, it seems as though it was a tough decision and it was a shame things didn't work out. GB had some good ideas and deserved better results.

As we've lost a lot of points to late goals are there any plans to get in a new fitness coach/regime. We looked off the pace today and have done quite a few games this season.

Thanks

Steve - brilliant that you are on here and interacting with fans. I think we can all agree the right desicion was made so no complaints there.

A couple of questions

1 - Obviously Burley didn't work out, but what happens if the next guy doesnt work either? Do you sack him or give him next season in League 1 to rebuild (if we are relegated)? How much of a financial blow would relegation be?

2 - Did you come close to sacking George at any points previously? I said after Derby away that that performance was virtually a sackable offence by itself. Maybe a bit exaggurated, but certainly under Jordan he would've been gone a couple of months ago if not earlier. Do you regret not acting earlier?

3 - When can we expect an announcement on the new management team?

4 - Final one, with the likes of Dougie, Kember and Austin coming in during your reign would i be right in saying that the new boss will have Palace connections?
