Good post SW2. I agreed with pretty much all of it apart from wanting Burley gone. He needed to go but the timing is unfortunate, I too am worried about how far we are into the transfer window already. It gives whoever is our next manager 3 weeks to assess the squad, identify additions/replacements and get them in, that isn't a lot of time. If we don't get some additions in I think we stand a good chance of being relegated no matter who we have in charge.

Problem is now EH has all the time in the world to make a decision - we clearly don't. I assumed he would have a think over the weekend and make a decision Monday morning. The article someone posted suggests he will be having other meetings later today with his current chairman etc. The longer this goes on, the less comfortable I am feeling and I think plan B may well have to kick in! How unfortunate for us there were so many sackings at the same time.

The fan sites I have read don't even seem to want him very much - too young, not enough experience, they beat us when we played them 1st game of the season At least if your fans here are fairly representative you would have given him a decent chance to make his mark.

I saw that too, it is the same as us, I think a few of them believe he will go there as it is a better proposition, a few believe all the twitter rubbish, and most of them think he will either come to Palace or stay.
