I've had a word with a few companies and i've got one ringing back. To get a minibus+driver would cost in the region of £50-60 each but this woman thats ringing me back reckons she'd be able to do it cheaper than that.

My colleague has mentioned to me the possibility of renting multiple 7-seater cars at around £200 a pop which would take the cost for each person at around £30, which is ok I think. The only problem with this method is that we would need to have probably 2 drivers for each car so we would need 2 people with full driving licences that would be willing to drive and thus forfeit the drinking time. I would like to point out that I can't drive otherwise I would drive one of them.

If anybody can find a way of doing this even cheaper or around that price but with a driver that would be appreciated

I'll try and get hold of the club again as well. Im just loathed to get the club to organise this because they'll want a cut of the money which would push our costs up even more whereas I wont be making any money out of this.

The bus would be going down the M1 and it would cost considerably more apparently to deviate from the M1 route, so unfortunately rerouting to go through Birmingham is not an option and Coventry is the closest I can get to Stafford and Kidderminster and rerouting from Southport isn't an option either so you'd have to go to Leeds. If we had 2x 7 seater cars then I could get the one car to start from Southport and then pick up at Stafford and Kidderminster on the way.

I'm just musing here. If anybody is able to help out with finding a cheap minibus that would be wonderful!

Desperate for Wigan to get relegated as I live 5 minutes walk from The DW ! Bolton getting relegated wouldnt be awful either !

Probably best to have a 2nd route down the M6 to include Southport, Wigan, Stafford, Birmingham. Do we have enough demand for a 2nd bus?

I don,t mind travelling to a desiginated pick up point (leeds)if people decide to make it a runner & if theres room.

I live in York so can jump to Leeds for the pick up ... I'd be interested, can't drive though!
