Can anyone recall a game in the eighties, where at the end of the match players had i think 15 secs to run

I seem to remember this being muted in the early 80's as an alternative and fairer method to the orthodox penalty or even instead of the penalty shoot-outs. Obviously never used in a competitive match or friendly that i know of in this country, although i do remember a news item where it was tested with Bob Wilson I think as the keeper. I believe back in the 70's when the USA started to form soccer leagues they implimented this form of penalty if a game ended in a draw. They don't do draws in America. It was just like a penalty shoot out where 5 players from each side would have a go. Obviously never caught on.
