Dowie would be an ok choice, I'm not sure about Sanchez, does know how to get his players to rise to the occasion but his history hasn't been that impressive at all. I wouldn't mind Adams, but we have to take at least a little amount of time to ensure we get the right man for Palace.

I am gladdened and saddened by today's events. Glad because it was obvious to everyone that Kember didn't have a clue how to manage team. He is a poor motivator, an even worse tactician and not the man to get a team out of a slump. I am sad that we have lost a hero, a Palace man through and through and one who has given the best years of his life to the club. As for the future, the only time in the Jordan era we have looked good was when he brought in a manager hungry for success, who in his brief time managing had shown glimpses of brilliance and now he should do the same. Iain Dowie is the right man for the job and his task is simple - do what we're good at. By which I mean bringing through players from the youth team and from the lower leagues and blending them into an effective unit. And, like the Tory Party is doing now, we as supporters need to undertake a period of unified and total support for the new man, and in the interim, Kit.

Well where do we go from here. I have not been to a match this season and I only saw 23 games last season, which was my worse attendance since 1975. I will not return until SJ is gone unfortunately I am not so sure there will be any thing to return to.

I think Jordan deserves some credit for acting quickly, and not having a long drawn out situation where the fans get more and more angry at the manager. At least Kember can leave with a shade of dignity.
