Wage would obviously be a problem for us but he isn't getting games and there is paper talk of him wanting or needing a loan move so he can get games before the world cup. He would want to stay in London, he wouldn't go to Arsenal or Tottenham and hardly think a chelsea player will be loaned to West Ham... he always said he wanted to come back...

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ashley Cole loan?' by Moose Actually, he has said before that he could see himself seeing out his career at Palace so this is far from a ridiculous suggestion. I can't see it happening although he wouldn't be a regular at Real Madrid with Marcelo there. He didn't play against at Chelsea away but I hope he gets a decent reception if he comes to Selhurst later in the season. What a player he was. I remember the cheeky £1million offer Jordan made for him all those years ago.

Actually, he has said before that he could see himself seeing out his career at Palace so this is far from a ridiculous suggestion. He has indeed said this many moons ago, though likely in terms of "when I'm 36 and finished as a top flight player and Palace are maybe in the Championship" not "should I stay at Chelsea or go to Monaco, Real Madrid or Palace"

Read what he said. The hint is in the words "world" and "cup". For the next three months, normal behaviour will be suspended by those players who have a shot at making their national squads but whose place is not guaranteed. They need playing time...doesn't matter where. I agree this is unlikely but whereas in a non-WC year it would be flat out impossible, this year there is a vague chance it might happen. This post has been merged from a topic called 'Looking For A Left Back: Ashley Cole is the man' by Moose With Ashley having previously pledged his love for us fans and the club and with him wanting to get game time to be on the flight to Brasil he needs to get out of Chelski. With Pullis reportedly looking for a left back why dont we approach Chelski to take him on loan and pay £30k a week of his wages in the process....I think all parties would go for it...but is it a feasible suggestion??
