Would rather Murray and Gayle to be fair.

I've always been a fan of Rhodes,maybe we can do a deal with Campbell as makeweight in the deal.

Am i right that Rhodes started at Ipswich?

maybe he wants to come back south.

Campbell would be a nice sweetener, I always wanted him to do well, great potential once but he has to go.

We have some good players that can go to sweeten future deals when you think about it.

I would keep Campbell over Gayle any day of the week! People need to start to look beyond this weird fascination they have with Dwight Gayle as despite what Pardew says will be leaving this summer! Palace have got to says he's part of their plans to keep the price up but he's now on his fourth manager that doesn't really fancy him and to play every week he needs to go to the championship!

I like Campbell but there is no way he is better than Gayle. Gayle does actually score when he gets a decent chance in front of goal. He's a good finisher if nothing else. Campbell as much as I like him is not as prolific in front of goal as his potential always suggested that he would be.

As for managers not fancying Gayle to play, well you have a point, you have to wonder what goes on behind the scenes but I think it's more to do with the way we set up as a team with the players those managers have had to deploy on the pitch.

Look at Murray, couldn't get a game and was shipped out and ready to go, then WOOOSH, 6 goals in 7 was it?

Also not to forget that despite not getting the games he still ends up being top goal scorer at the club.

Gayle v's Campbell, it's a no brainer.

Initially I was lukewarm about the idea of Rhodes, but I think he'll be a quality signing - he'll have the hunger, pedigree and age on his side. Just imagine Rhodes, Cabaye and Micah Richards - all of a sudden a quality looking squad !
