this is one signing i really do not want ,i do not think he is that much better than glen murray

[Link]

have you actualy seen him play scoring goals in france is not the same ,its a much lower standard ,for a 29yr who has not proved himself he looks very slow and has a poor touch he barely looks like a 1 million £ player than 7 million £ one +swansea would not get rid of him if he was any good we need somebody better than him ,in my opinion

My god again with the crazy Rose Tinted glasses. Whether Gomis is the right signing is up for debate, but let me make this very very clear Gomis is a MUCH BETTER player than Glenn Murray!

Gomis is a player who has consistently scored in Ligue 1 at one of the very best teams in that league with an International call up who has played in the champions league and Europa cup. Glenn has been plying his trade in the 2nd and 3rd tier of English football.

To say Glenn is better than Gomis is quite frankly delusional, as much as he is a cpfc hero.

I didn't say he had a glowing international career and yes I've watched him play for many seasons following Ligue 1 for bot St etiennee and Lyon. The fact is he's played in the champions league for many seasons also the Europa league. If Glenn was a better player or just as good his cv wouldn't have Brighton & Hove Albion and Rochdale on it.

Have you actually seen any French Ligue 1 matches, if you have you would realize what a stupid remark that is.

The French Ligue 1 is not that far behind the top 4 Leagues in Europe, and the French Ligue 1 is turning out far more top players than the Premier League does.

the french lige was once one of the top 4 but not now because of the wage cap ,where they have lost alot of there best players ,half the teams are championship standard and its nowhere as competative as this league .and i did not say glenn was better than gomis ,lighten up ,i only want the best for palace and this man in my opinon is not what we want

By the way there isn't a salary cap in France what you are referring to is a super high tax rate for high earners.
