I genuinely man-love every member of the Team of The 80's in this order

It was special to see Fan Zhiyi at the match today, a really classy guy. I used to love the way he would harangue Sun Jihai on a regular basis.

Surely overall our main man was the Bald Eagle. Lombardo was just something else

Ian Evans would have been our top bloke but for that b****** George Best. And John Jackson just has to be in the list.

But in the end our overall long term top bloke was Jim Cannon, just no argument there.

In the last 10 years it's Speroni. Been around forever, stayed through good times and bad, benefited from the Palace having patience with him and seems to have returned the love.

Slightly over 10 years...fan zhiyi...he was awesome.

Since then, my favourite is danny butterfield...and that's without his antics as a makeshift striker...absolutely loved they guy.

Special mention goes to Damien Delaney.

And whoever said Johnny ertl...come on, he was proper awful

They can't stand DB at Exeter Brauny. 'Waste of space' 'useless' 'lazy' are some of the kinder words.

Yup!

Went to both his testimonials - including the one against Vince Hilaire's all-blacks (wonder if they'd get away with that today) including some great players all over the pitch, and some bloke from the Rose and Crown second team in goal, because there weren't any black keepers at the time, if I remember right.

Seeing as this is a good period for the club, let's try to be a bit more positive! Which player (in last 10 years) have you loved most, not necessarily the best (so don't say wilf or aj) but someone passionate and loved

Derry for me, Sean Scannell maybe at the time too

Darren Ambrose Wilf Zaha Danny Butterfield
