Here is the progress chart for last season: [Link]

Here are the results for last season: [Link]

In a way we were lucky that we had that March & April period of losses and draws because it got us to properly sort ourselves out and rely on form or reputation to win the play offs. And I never thought we'd get auto promotion. It was always going to be the play offs, whether 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th. We never had and never will have that squad strength and depth without richer owners, a bigger stadium, more revenue, a few years in the Prem. We're Crystal Palace, not Leicester or QPR.

Holloway is a clown he shows Barcelona videos as part of his team talk.

Yeh, what an idiot. He shows his team what it looks like to be one of the best teams in Europe and what they could aspire to. Why on earth would he want to do that?

He is a f***ing idiot. Barcelona videos and you think it is a good idea. He should of been drilling the side making sure everyone knows there roles and going over tactics but instead he wants Miles Jedinak and KG To suddenly become Xavi and Iniesta.

after his latest mess at the Den, i reckon his football manager career is finished. Getting up through the playoffs was mostly to the credit of zaha, not holloway.

holloway seems to be way out of his depth and should think about managing a coffee shop - but not one at Victoria or London Bridge station, just a small regional coffee shop - maybe at Merstham station.

1) Only just
2) He had a s*** transfer window and a bizarre 25 man squad
3) Glad he did
4) The best thing he did. Just hope he can finish the season in League 1

With the playing squad we had .....Which was an average team without Jedinak, Zaha and Murray.....He did very well.

s*** transfer window? Hasn't Punch just won us games from the wing? Bannan is quality and so is the lad from Forest....Holloway did better in the transfer market than many.

He's done well for Millwall and has given them a chance.

I think his summer signings were quite good really. As well as Puncheon, Chamakh and Mariappa and even Jerome have started regularly, and Bannan and Guedioura have been on the bench, so whilst there were some spectacular misses in the transfer signings, there are some substantially good signings too. One of the major reasons (I think) that Holloway got so exhausted was that the club simply wasn't set up to handle PL transfers, no Moody to help him, so he was doing all the trawling through the endless videos etc.

Uniquely, he had the humility and good grace to know he wasn't the right man to keep Palace in the PL, and left, quite remarkable really.

His signings have proven to be ok because Pulis has managed them. All of them players were awful under Holloway. Someone comes in and tells Puncheon and Chamakh how good they really are and gives them a proper job then they perform well. Instead Holloway wanted to talk about chickens in his press conferences. I hated Holloway before he got the Palace Job I hated him when he had the Palace job. We miraculously went up so I gave him some leeway, hated him every moment in the premier league and now I like him because he is plummeting Millw*** into league 1. VASTLY OVERRATED MANAGER.

I've heard it all now. What you're trying to say is that IH bought a load of donkeys and Pulis has turned them into silk purses

Ah, now I understand. That was all he did, they spent all day watching videos. Makes you wonder why they would need a coaching staff.

IH's mistakes were:

1. Making too many changes in 1 game, any game, every game. I think the most obvious one where this was his downfall this season was at home vs Swansea. There were about 4 debuts and possibly 1 or 2 more who hadn't played the game before.

2. Playing Gayle and not playing Chamakh at no. 10 and someone else at number 9. Murray obviously out and I think Jerome wasn't fully fit either.

3. Not having Bolasie available.

4. Not having KG available enough.

5. Not playing behind the ball as much as possible when you haven't got it. You can see this is the instruction whenever we lose it. It is now such a habit Pulis rarely has to remind people. Only an individual when he is the one on the floor or who has lost the ball with him being immediately in front of it.

We now pass and take on the opposition when there is support to do so, not trying to do it whenever we can. There hasn't been a massive change, just basic ones and I'm glad KM and then TP did.

Ok yes your right they did not only watch Barcelona videos. He also took them to see fortune tellers. The guy has failed everywhere he has gone, he is a quitter when things are going wrong it is always the same line "Ive fallen out of love with football, I need a long break" After his 2 month long break from football he returns to another club spouts bollocks in his press conference and says "They have made me fall in love with football again" "I have bought into what they want to achieve" The guy is a clown and utterly useless.

No I am saying Holloway was not capable of managing the players he bought. How many people called, Guedioura, Bannan, Chamakh, Puncheon, Jerome s*** and should never wear a palace shirt again after the Swansea game.

He is perfect for Champ football. Plays outright attacking football to get 3 points rather than 2 draws in a row. He got Blackpool promoted, then relegated. Not surprising with a wage cap of £10k per week. Then he go them into the play off final vs West Ham after changing the squad round following Charlie Adam etc leaving. He then got us promoted. That is hardly failure. He just isn't suited to the dynamics of the Premier League.

If he was useless then anyone who is lower or middle management and very good at what they do but cannot succeed at CEO level or for a multi-national/blue chip compnay, then they are useless clowns as well.

IH knows what he can do/can't do. DF thinks he's bigger than he is. TP only says what is necessary and runs down the touchline and drives away to privacy asap. We've been lucky we've had the right people at the right time. Have anyone of those in the wrong order or not at all and my I reckon we would not be where we are now. No chance.
