A few tough games coming up which may change this a little, but here is a table showing standings when looking just at results from and including 23 of November, when Pulis took over....

1 Chelsea 54
2 Liverpool 52
3 Man City 51
4 Everton 46
5 Arsenal 39
6 Spurs 37
7 ManU 37
8 Palace 33
9 Stoke 33
10 Newcastle 29
11 West Ham 24
12 Southampton 22
13 Hull 22
14 WBA 22
15 Norwich 21
16 Swansea 21
17 Villa 20
18 Fulham 19
19 Sunderland 18
20 Cardiff 17

Just shows what an amazing job TP has done and big thanks to IH for departing before it was too late.

Were we really only on 4 points when Pulis took over? That doesn't sound right to me....I don't think Pulis has got us 33 of our 37 points.

Think we were on 4 points when Olly left, then Millen got us a point against Everton and TP took over on November 23rd when we beat Hull away.

If I'm right we were on 5 points when TP got the job, so he's won us 32 out of the current 37.

Had a little look and I think the OP could be right. I think we were on 3 (from Sunderland win) then Millen got us a point against Everton and a good performance (albeit a defeat) against Arsenal and TP did indeed take us over on 4 points. Wow!

EDIT: also a defeat to WBA under KM I think? Would have had to have been if he managed us for Everton and Arsenal as WBA was in between the those two.

KM definitely steadied the ship but I don't think he'd have got us anywhere near where we are now if he'd got the job full-time, as some were suggesting.

We got 3 points from Sunderland and 1 from Everton. Pulis was officially appointed on the 23rd when we beat Hull - I think he may have watched that game from the stands...

Yes you're right, the other point was Vs Everton when KM was in temporary charge.

What an amazing job TP has done!

Yeah I had to check a few times because I couldn't believe it, I don't remember us being that bad - it might be because we were very unlucky in some of those games and should have got points at Old Trafford and at home against Spurs...

TP was sat next to Parish. He wasn't in charge of the team until after Hull away.

That sounds right. I remember everyone saying Keith Millen had handed Palace over in a much more decent state after the Hull result. Surely we give KM the 3 points for Hull though don't we? He joked on MotD that Pulis was giving him instructions from the stand though....!
