it's the bitter backbiting and also taking the job at Millwall that rankles.

Should he have said "I'm sorry I can't accept the job as one or two fans at my old club don't like Millwall"

"I am now a Palace fan and always will be," Holloway said.

Now go back to what else I said about him saying the right things to the right people at the right times. The blokes full of s*** and unfortunately he's done it everywhere he's been.

My point exactly done the same with Blackpool and Leicester. Guy Is a bellend calling our supporters pathetic with "offensive" chants, Ridiculing the Brighton rivalry, Saying he would like Liverpool to put loads past us so he could here YNWA was it for me.

We spent 350K on Joe Ledley and 2.5 on Dann. He spent 2 Million on Kebe and 2 on Hunt.

CLUELESS CLOWN.

A clueless clown who masterminded the glorious victory over the
Seaweed and then against the best passing sidei n the division at Wembley!

He might not have been upto the Premier standard
But he will always have a place in my heart for that night at the Amex and the day at Wembley.

100%, some people do have very short memories.

Yes you are right some people have short memories people forget what it was like before the play offs. Not taking the rivalry seriously, ridiculing supporters chants and losing near enough every game.

spot on - we limped into that play off due to soo many tems around us being inconsistent - he came in and was cocky, he didn't show the club/heritage enough respect.

I soon saw a clown, clutching at straws - rather than a manager

Absolutly agree. Classless to call him clueless without him we wouldn't have Pulis!

I couldnt even be bothered to read the article. Ian Holloway is a specialist in Premier League failure. Just glad he quit when he did. What he says now is irrelevant leave him to his relegstion scrap

I agree. Clueless to call him clueless but that's par for the course with many on this forum who change their minds like the wind.

I read the article linked at the beginning and cannot find any comments that aren't anything but complimentary to both Crystal Palace and Tony Pulis

Same.

IH is a nice guy, he goes from club to club and makes friends, settles in, and seems to always leave on a good note - primarily because he doesn't have a bad word to say about anyone and is about as honest as they come (even if he does go a bit over the top on being a life long fan of every club he goes to).

He hasn't slagged us off and anything that could be read otherwise is no doubt the media quoting out of context.

People forget how easy it would have been for him to stay, get a pay off and slag of our chairman for a lack of support/funds. He didn't, he said it was him who couldn't do more and that someone else would hopefully do a better job.

How many premiership managers have had the balls to resign because they thought someone else could do a better job?

The problem with Holloway is that his wacky comments and interviews are amusing so long as he isn't managing your club at the time and in the midst of a grim run of results, at which point it becomes increasingly infuriating.

I was glad he went and think the Championship is probably his level but he's a nice enough bloke and I hold absolutely no ill feeling towards him. Apart from anything else, he oversaw what must be considered our greatest playoff triumph so will always be a bit of a hero for that.

There's only one clueless clown and that's the person that wrote those words originally.

Perhaps you should look at his record, Millwall are unbeaten in six, and they've turned over the likes of Wigan, Derby, and Forest, on their own grounds of late, that's not bad form for a team with a "CLUELESS CLOWN" in charge.

It takes time for a new manager to bed in and the players to get to know him and his way of working, and I remember it, it took TP a while to get the players working like they are now, and getting results consistently, and with the dross he has inherited at Millwall I think he's done well 22 points from 20 games.
