That will be his base salary - quite a lot of star players have deals worth 150k a week, but their salary is say 50k.

To get Demba Ba, we'd probably need to spend 18-20m on the transfer, offer 3-5 years and a deal worth 120k a week and for him to have fallen out with the club (no one sells a highly successful goal scorer).

Normally I'd say never gamble on the financial future, but it could prove worth it in his case (bear in mind the 20m on the transfer would probably amount to the profit 2010ltd could expect to make on a premiership season, before even allowing for wages of around 7m a year.
