A bridal dress is gender specific. If a shop don't want to cross that line then that's their choice and I support them. If he wants to wear women's clothes then he has plenty of avenues to enable that.....He's looking for cheap publicity at the cost of trying to demonise a local business which by its very nature depends upon tradition and perception. He's an arsehole.

Shops are not allowed to specifically discriminate on grounds of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. Choice doesn't come into it. You can no more discriminate on gender than you can on race.
