Great day for England, Cook and Stokes.

Yes, but we still have a lot to do to save this test given there are 2 days left. Not much batting to come !

A really good show yesterday. All too often when we bat facing a substantial runs deficit we weakly cave in. In fact it looked as if that was going to happen again after loosing early wickets. However, Cook, Root and Stokes showed tremendous character to take us to a potentially winning situation.

It's been a good scoring rate throughout this test as well - an average of 335 per day. In fact England's rate, for time at the crease, is even better.

After my day of struggling to keep my eyes open, yesterday was the complete reverse!

What a knock by Stokes!

Stokes was McCullum'esque in his batting.

Today has been a great day of test cricket but will we get the result in the next two hours or so?

7 down now!

I just hope it's not a repeat of Sri Lanka last year.

Brilliant test.

This summer could be like 2005 all over again!

Fantastic game and a great effort by both sides. A real good advert for test cricket during this IPL s***.

Stokes, Root and Cook, super stuff.

Test cricket at it's finest.

Ebbed and flowed for five days with plenty of runs and still 40 wickets taken.

A really great Test match, played in a very good sporting manner by both teams.

You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself.

Agreed.

One of the great tests.
