I wasn't really impressed when I heard this and at 7m, I think that's a bit much. I don't believe he will set the Premier League on fire. I would rather keep Gayle and even Campbell for that matter and keep the money for someone who could make a real impact. Although He does seem to score at least a goal every 4 matches and did even better than that at Derby... But for me.. Nah..

No thanks. He's Championship material and was utter toilet when playing for us.

I'd rather we signed the singer. At least we'd know that when he eventually did the dirty on us and forced us to sell him to Spurs, we could call it a conscious uncoupling and still go on pre-season tours together with the kids.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

Must admit I do like Martin as a player, and he has scored a few for Derby over the last 2 years, but I'd prefer to keep both Gayle and Murray, and the £7m, and give both of them more game time to prove themselves to AP and hopefully score loads for PALACE at the same time...

I also like Martin as a player but not at £7 million quid. Hopefully it's a smoke screen as we try and sign our real target Charlie Austin.

I think I would rather go for Martin than a basket case like Osvaldo who is highly likely to destabilise the dressing room. Quite a few good championship strikers went on to prove they are just as good in the PL. Come forward Charlie Austin, and, err, Glen Murray!
