I couldn't be politically anymore opposite to Corbyn but at least he is a politician with conviction.

The rest have already said "tell us what you want us yo be and we will be it" which quite frankly is a crock of s***

So was Hitler.

Not really the same are they?

I agree, of course they are not. But conviction politicians tend to carry on with policies when when they are clearly going wrong, Thatcher did it with the Poll Tax.

Better to have someone who believes in something rather than nothing imo.

Poll tax wasn't actually that bad it was more a symptom of her waning powers. The old rates system was seriously flawed and no bugger had any idea what to do. It wasn't perfect but was actually better than the rates system.

Loving this comparison.

Exhibit #1: The poll tax.

Exhibit #2: waging the second world war in the face of imminent defeat and collapse because "it is immaterial if the German people survive. I will not shed a tear for them. They have deserved nothing better"

Both policies. Both carried on with despite "clearly going wrong." Hard to choose between them really!

I think they differ in their view of European unification.

I don't mind people who don't believe in anything, its the ones that believe that winning is more important than being right that concern me.

Assassination or trial? Corbyn thought a trial would be better. What's wrong with that?

Would have been the same result in the end Nick - just brought forward the inevitable

Are you saying we should show compassion to Bin Laden, ISIS, etc?

Putting someone on trial and showing compassion are not even close to being the same thing Mr H. Ask Ian Brady.
