For the first time an anti immigration party has topped an opinion poll in Sweden. The anti immigration right in France are on the rise as well.

Social cohesion is going up in smoke.

Everyone appears to regard the western lifestyle as a right, whether they are western or not.

One thing appears pretty likely to me......Antisemitism is only going to increase as these middle eastern populations increase.

In Europe Jewish flight will increase.....Losing one set of good integrationists for a much larger mixed bag replacing it.

It's very scary. Human beings replacing other human beings. Rumoured that some Syrians eat Christian babies for breakfast. Best that all prospective British parents try to conceive nine months before Ramadan from now on.

Anti-immigration parties on the rise? Can't understand it - wonder why? Surely, with immigration being an unmitigated blessing, we should encourage more of it and expect the rise of pro-immigration parties?

A mass exodus of a country's population is not an answer. You can't just run away from a situation. If we had in the 40's the whole world would look very different right about now.

If I were so desperate to leave a war-torn country I'd settle in the first peaceful place I could find. So how the f*ck do they end up in Sweden? Oh yeah, because they want the p*ss-easy life that the Socialist Swedish Government will offer them.

Free-loaders the lot of them, nothing more.

Living standards are falling, youth unemployment is hefty and people across Europe are told to make people welcome......because.

Not necessarily my views but the failure of the European establishment to justify the benefits of the situation is to me the real failure.

I doubt it. The countries bordering Syria generally have a history of being either 'hostile to Arabs' or allies of the Syrian government (Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, Iraq and Turkey)

The responsibility for refugees created by war should be born by all nations, not just the few that happen to be on their borders. The problem is massively increased by the fact that countries don't act until they turn up in their country.

These problems are never going to be solved by just abandoning the idea of immigration and asylum, but to effectively regulate the flow.

Anti-Immigration parties are as absurd a concept as those who promote the idea of unchecked migration.

Depends on how you phrase it. If you just phrase it in a racial rhetoric, then yes you probably will.

Yes, we might very well have seen a different outcome had there not be a large scale migration of Polish, Norwegian and French into the UK. We might well have lost the Battle of Britain, and the effectiveness of the SOE would have been greatly reduced.

The assumption that people who are fleeing Syria are free loaders seems a bit absurd, given that the three main factions currently active in Syria are the Government Forces of Assad allied with Hezbollah (who have used chemical weapons and mass murder as policy), the Al-Queda faction Al Nusa Front and IS.

All three of these factions have operated a 'zero tolerance' approach to resistance (ie they exterminate indiscriminately in order to take control of captured areas).

I don't think there really is any real benefit to Asylum for a nation, at least not in the short term. However, given the alternative is sending civilians back into a genocidal civil war, that has shown no signs of letting up doesn't seem to be an option. Maybe a lower standard of living is better than dead children, mass rape, torture and murder.

Much like the Nazi's. Who hated Jews too.

My point was - if you do not stand up to them and run away, what does that solve?

Also, who's shelling the sh*t out of them? Oh, it's us again... When everyone has a problem it's always got to be 'the West' that helps out. What have the Syrians ever done for us? Harsh but - we owe them nothing.
