Parish in talks to sign "two or three" by deadline

Some of these posts make very depressing reading and one or two are almost predicting relegation. Have some faith, as I am sure we have enough quality to stay above the drop zone and consolidate during the summer.

Perhaps, but it's very disappointing to see a team like Leicester - similar in size and recent history to us - really kick on this season whilst we are treading water at best. We've had a problem with strikers since we were promoted and nearly 3 years in we still have it.

They can be signed but not played unless they are under 21 because we have already named the 25 for second half of season. There are emergency rules but these usually only apply to goal keepers

If memory serves me correct then Leicester had a far better infrastructure and squad in place even in the season WE went up. Since then they have seen Vardy score more goals than he did in since his days in the Northern Premier League. They also had their present influential players such as Mahrez; Morgan; Schmiekel; and Drinkwater already on their books. We have been building a squad for the past six years - starting with almost nothing. I am far from jealous of what Leicester are achieving and hope they win the title. For us, however, it will be several more years before we can genuinely look to gain a top six spot.
