He must be regretting going there by now. I was amazed he took it in the first place while winning plaudits for his Sky work.

Valencia are apparently worse now than when he took over, so I can see him back on Sky for the end of the season.

What do you mean apparently? He wasn't won a game in the league and juts got battered 7-0 in the first leg of the cup semi!

Apparently, in so much as I didn't bother to check whether they were worse. I never really understood why successful players who have clearly earned more than a small country would want to be managers. Especially ones with a flourishing punditry career.

Surely he doesn't need the money.

It's hard enough for a person who has never managed to go to a top-class club and manage for the first time.In the case of Neville he also went to a foreign country.Cannot see him lasting there long.

Their 50% stakeholder at Salford City is Valencia's owner. Something tells me he had his arm twisted.

Yes there is a connection between the clubs but Neville didn't have to go, he could have stayed in his role at SKY and carried on earning the plaudits he deserved. He probably now wishes he had done just that !

I know. As I said, I suspect he had his arm twisted.

Looks like it won't be long before he leaves the club.
Have the crowds being waving their "White Handkerchiefs" whilst bellowing out "Fuera, Fuera" ?
