Why do you feel it's your job to save the NHS money?

This so called health tourism, according to the link below amounts to 0.3% of the overall budget. (but no doubt sensationalised by the tabloid media)

So in essence you are saying you are willing to personally give up access to free health care across europe because you want your government to save a little bit of the 0.3% that goes on Health tourism?

No wonder the rest of the world laughs at us

Free health care is a bit of a misnomer when the NHS charges £9 for a prescription and you have to pay for eye tests and glasses as well as pay at the dentists.

There are multible reasons that it is my job to vote what is right. You agree health tourism exists, good, small but one reason to add to multiple other reasons people voted leave. Incidentally you can buy travel insurance from as little as £9.99 a year, a small price to pay wouldn't you say?

so as well as another thing lost, another thing you have to pay for out of your own pocket. For nothing in return

You don't feel you contributed enough through taxes and National insurance for the NHS? I thought your side were against higher taxation? This seems like a form of voluntary stealth tax !

You do realise not everyone goes on holiday or on holiday to Europe?
If you can't afford £9.99 annual travel insurance I suggest you don't go on holiday it won't be much fun.

That's 83p a month, a small price to pay to protect our borders and NHS.
in any case OUR OWN government state.

from the article that YOU posted

The UK is not part of the EU’s
border-free zone – we control
our own borders
which gives
us the right to check everyone,
including EU nationals, arriving
from continental Europe.

But you didn't really answer the question why you feel you need to personally contribute more to the NHS (from your taxable income) after you've paid tax and national insurance?

Anyone from the EU is coming and going, there is no control on numbers. FACT.
Our government could control it better but won't so I voted leave.

I never said I want to personally contribute more to the NHS, don't make up things. But I'm sure they will appreciate the saving wouldn't you say from stopping health tourism.
You need a new barrel to start scraping, your argument is weak.

So pussay
Only 0.3%
Well as the nhs had £125 billion budget in 17/18
And probably £130 billion in 18/19
That 0.3% is about half a billion
Add that to your theiving benefit fraud mates total of £2 billion and its a few bob.
Please dont be moaning about tax cuts until your solution for the above is sorted.

Outside of the EU you need a visa to come to this country I don't understand why health insurance is not part of that process. No insurance no visa.

That link appears to disprove your assertion.
