No Willo, your powers only increase over time. We can all bear witness to that.

What's really laughable is that people on your side of the fence cannot accept that the reason the referendum was called in the first place was not because the decision was "too big for Parliament" but because it was too big for the Tory Party. If Parliament as a whole had been asked then we would not be in this mess. It was held to shut up the Eurosceptics once and for all but went badly wrong. Any referendum can be hijacked by the winds of fortune, political shenanigans, outside influences and money. That's no way to decide important issues which affect future generations much more than ourselves.

Parliament is where the will of the people is represented. No one made a "wrong choice"! It's now just an out of date choice made on issues that have subsequently expanded in complexity with greater clarity over the implications.

The Referendum Act was voted for and approved by members of all parties. It was subject to the same procedure as any other Act.

The public would be no better informed now than they were then. They continue to be exposed to a tsunami of lies, fearmongering and half truths. Nothing has changed. The idea that Parliament is any less subject to political and financial pressures is very funny.

Still waiting for the mythical ‘better deal’ to be successfully negotiated by anyone... now there’s a leaver in charge I’m sure we’ll get there... unless it was all bulls*** of course.

So how does that work then?

Hilarious statement when you consider Labour's farcical proposal.

Labour wouldn't back it even if it was better than if we were still in the eu.
They cannot get past the fact that the country should come before their own egos and want of needing to be in power.
Offered a GE and run away.
Load of chickens for sure.
If a decent deal was bought back by BJ even you know what will happen.
Labour want to remain. But obviously get a good deal; hang on remain but obviously.......

Indeed. Piers Corbyn is on record of saying that his brother should 'Basically put up or shut up' (or words to that effect, that said I can't recall him calling him a 'c***'

Hasn't resigned from his brother's cabinet because of a conflict between national interest and family loyalty though. Cant get much more damning than that.
