This was always the remains campaign to lose. They simply focused more on scare mongering and less on addressing the one issue the public really cared about.

Not much point in having a referendum if you're not going to abide by it.

Obviously a bad result for us remainers, but we have to accept democracy. I was always taught that although results might not go our way we must be magnanimous in victory and generous in defeat, so congratulations to all the leave campaign.

Whilst I'm not agreeing with nationalisation, I do agree with everyone now coming together and making it work. I think long term this is the best choice. People are scared because it's different to where we are now but having more control over your own destiny is never a bad thing.

Why don't you want renationalisation. If you voted out then you voted against foreign interference in our affairs. But you're quite happy for foreign companies to collude and set energy costs to make profit to take out of Albion. A curious contradiction.

Blair didn't leave himself open much. The new bellyman!

You (personally) ran a clean campaign, Jonny. Respect.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

We need a Churchillian leader now.

Where the hell are we going to get one of those from.

If Cameron goes, which he must, then Corbyn must go.

The Labour Party membership was overwhelmingly behind Remain but Corbyn's campaigning was at best lukewarm. Brexit was won in the Labour heartlands.

Time to go, Comrade.

I am bereft at hearing this result.

It changes everything and right now I am not sure I want to be a part of this nation as it no longer stands for the beliefs I want to live my life by.

But that's me but in adversity let's revert to pop lyrics

The public gets what the public wants but I want nothing this society's got

Or maybe you've made your bed you better lie in it

Watch as both of them manage to justify themselves somehow. Still, neither would be electable in future even if they did manage to keep themselves in a job for a little while.
