Ultimately I expect the MPs to vote to honour the result and it'll just sew up any legal opposition to Brexit allowing it to continue unchallenged.

Still, I look forward to another 40 petitions on Facebook asking foaming-at-the-mouth lefties to petition for it to be discussed in Parliament.

If they did get it they'd try to solve it with a march!

Very clever. She's only called that because she May or May not invoke Article 50.

Gusset, that's the first time you've ever made me laugh out loud (other than when your post your links to your leftie blogs, of course}.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I might be wrong, but didn't the woman who asked for the case to be taken to high court a 'brexiter' anyway?

Well if so then she is obviously someone with can't be taken seriously.

The judges did (why did the daily fail attack one of the judges for being openly gay?)

Ironic isn't it that the sovereignty of the UK parliament was one of the most oft repeated Brexiter arguments in favour of quitting the EU, but now that the High Court has ruled that the UK parliament is sovereign and that there should be a vote before Article 50 is triggered, Brexiters are having a collective anti-democratic meltdown!

Remainers shouldn't crack out the bubbly just yet. The referendum wasn't about the sovereignty of parliament. It was about whether or not we should remain in the European Union. Ultimately, the people are sovereign with their will expressed through parliament or, in this case, a referendum.

Parliament approved the Referendum Bill with the intention of abiding by its result and would be foolish to ignore it. This specious court challenge merely delays the inevitable.

I doubt it will be delayed by much, both Houses will approve a leave bill and then we can trigger our exit.

You silly b******s on the left don't see that you are f***ing yourselves with your support of this sort of nonsense.

This is the elite trying to maintain their little greedy empire at our expense. Think Industrial military complex. Think super rich multi national owners, think mega rich bankers and investors. Think corrupt members of elected bodies who control our lives. Think Bilderberg Group. That is who you are handing the reins to.
Think future world government in the pockets of the elite super rich.
