Eh...NY Giants football player Jason Pierre-Paul let a firework explode in his hand and lost several fingers summer 2015. He missed half of last season but just signed new a $10,000,000 contract. I think Balotelli would be a high potential low risk signing. He's proven he can be an elite player, would help sell tickets+jerseys etc., and I'm guessing is going for bargain rates.

Balotelli just isn't good enough. His heart isn't in football, it just happens to be something that he's good enough at to make a living out of without trying very hard. That's fair enough, plenty of people coast through their careers, but it won't do us any good when we're scrapping for a draw away to Average FC on a cold winter afternoon.

He seems to have fallen into that category of players who shine brightly at a young age and then live off it for the rest of their career. I agree with the previous poster who said "has he ever scored goals consistently for 3-4 months and the answer is no. According to Wiki he's scored 68 goals in 192 games. That said, we need more strikers. Do y'all reckon Freddy Lapado (sp?) is going to get some game time?

My first reaction was to laugh. But actually, it might just work. He's talented. He's also completely insane, but he's definitely talented. If we can't get someone better, I wouldn't think it so bad to get him in as back up for Wickham.
