... married my parents (tis true - I may explain later if people so request). A friend of mine was regularly acquainted with a woman called Sue Puttocks, and in quite tragic circumstances I once met another woman called Olive Hoyl. So what are the silliest names you've ever come across in your lives?

I once worked with a Scandinavian lad, Norwegian if memory serves, called Orson Kaat.
Spelling might be wrong, but that is how it was pronounced.

In another department at a bank where I worked was a guy called Wayne King. He had married a girl call Leigh.
Absolutely true.

I had a colleague called Barbara Kanters (pronounced c*nters), could never keep a straight face when I called her.

Funnily enough I once had dealings with an American girl called Crystal Paris.
