With Berehino, Sakho and Benteke looking increasingly unlikely what do you think of raiding Arsenal for Walcott?

He as already unhappy there and with the gunners looking at other targets upfront I'm sure if we put in a decent bid and offered a strikers role, which is what he appears to want, we would be in with a chance.

Wages and fee would be no more than the others mentioned IMO. His direct style of play would suit us down to the ground.

Thoughts?

I watched him on numerous occasions , his game evolves in pace and little else. His first touch is dreadful, ask any arsenal fan,he is the most hyped up footballer ever.

I don't mind Theo Walcott, but he's a winger. He may look a bit like Thierry Henry, he may run as fast as Thierry Henry and he may wear the number 14 shirt for Arsenal, just like Thierry Henry. But he's not Thierry Henry and never will be.

He's been at Arsenal for 10 years and hasn't made the transition from playing out wide to playing in the middle anywhere near as successfully as Henry did. I don't know why he can't just be happy playing on the wing, which is his best position.

As a winger, he'd be ideal if we needed one. But as a 5' 9'' striker who isn't really a striker playing a lone role up front, I'm not so sure.

Walcott has always been an attacking player but never a 'naturally wide' attacking player. Wenger's spent 10yrs trying to turn him into something he was never going to be.
'If' Theo moved clubs and played solely through the middle, my bet is we'd see a different player.

A good shout, but he won't come to us.

Has consistently said he wants to play as a striker and believes this is his best position.

Come a long way since he used to room with Gareth Bale as a Southampton junior and since he used to clean Kenwyne Jones' boots at the club.

Kenwyn Jones has just signed for Atlanta United a MLS Expansion team. They don't join the league until next year so he'll be looking to go out on loan. *Jimmo illegitimate son of Willo*
