If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

Bloody hell Nick I really thought that was gonna be a dead thread then. My heart was in my mouth!!! Last really good film he was in?... I would say Meet the Parents. As for your other question.... Corleone all day long!!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

The Intern is funny but mainly because it was like watching a parody of my place of work, minus the old guy.

Jake La Motta Last great film was Goodfellas in 1990. Casino gets a nod (although a watered down version of G'fellas), and Jackie Brown was great - although I don't think of it as a De Niro film. Everything since ranges from reasonably enjoyable to utter tripe. Pretty much everthing 70's & 80's is (at the very least) well worth a watch. Except Once Upon a Time in America. If I never sit through that again it'll be too soon.

NEVER does a bad film for me. In no particular order my favourites are Heat, Goodfellas, Casino, The Godfather, The Deer Hunter, Once Upon A Time In America, Meet The Fockers+ Superb actor, if I had to choose one from the above list it would have to be Heat... both de Niro and Pacino shine in that film.

Last good film I saw him in was The Family. Thought that was pretty good. James Conway was my favourite of his roles even if he wasn't quite as prominent as Pesci or Liotta.
