With the rumour mill, it seems we still have the ‘Benteke money’ still ready to spend because of the Yala sale. Effectively we swapped Yala for Benteke.

Who are our real targets? I’m guessing its Remy on loan with an option to buy £10m (next year TV money) plus Sissoko to buy £25m.

But there do seem to be what appear to be back up options Waris £10m plus Lucas Lima £15m. The more I think about the potential of Lucas Lima, the more I want this one to happen over Sissoko, Lucas is an attacking Brazil international and would make more of a difference.

With £25m to spend of course its possible to have Lucas Lima, Waris and Remy.

There will be some last minute offloading from the big clubs around Europe so it could get even more exciting as the squads get finalised. Maybe Ashley Young for a song.
