After the signings we've already made, I think this last day might feel like a bit of a let down, but sometimes the hidden gems can be found in unexpected places. It would still be the best window in a long time, if not ever.

Starting to look like we won't as we were "nailed on" for Wilshere this morning, then Rincoln as a backup and now neither. I was genuinely excited for Wilshere but oh well.

I reckon all the expensive players and chairman have been asked to hold off on their deals or announcements by Sky Sports until at least 22.30 tonight so everyone has to sit and listen to the endless drivel, speculation and nonsense being peddled by all unsundry. Can't wait to tune in at 23.00 and find out what happened! Until then its mostly complete fantasy & B*ll%+ks!
