Not being pedantic but we actually have 5 strikers in squad 3 mentioned and Campbell and Appiah. As I read rules We can't recall any players until January and that may only be if there is a break clause in loan. I am unsure what would happen if Chelsea cancelled loan as they wanted their medical staff to treat, Remy is named in our 25 but if we no longer hold his registration could we bring in a free transfer? There is only a provision for emergency loan of goalkeepers

I could imagine we will not see Remy now before Christmas?? Probably be one of these,just another couple of week's until back to training injuries. So frustrating,just when we all thought we finally had a bit of substance up front.

In results driven business, the God's really seem to be working against AP at the present time with this diabolical news and I hope his fortunes turn around soon.

Dreadful timing but that's the risk you take when you sign an injury prone striker - he hasn't played regularly since being at Newcastle so it's hardly a surprise he's broken down already
