6 months ago I'd have laughed at this suggestion, however its a measure of how far we have come in terms of recruitment that I wont even raise a smile. Still don't think there is any chance at all and that there will be much bigger clubs in for him (should he leave Chelsea) but expectations at Palace are changing.

This would be an absolutely brilliant signing but sadly can't see him being keen on playing for us. After his great cameo against Leicester the other night would be surprised if Chelsea are daft enough to let him go anyway. Shame. This is the kind of player we should be looking at for January.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |
