I have already had "PALACE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS 2018" tattooed on my bum in the certain knowledge that this will happen.

It's handy that the "O" in "European" is roughly in the centre of this phrase.

If we lose at Sunderland we can get back to normal and start talking about relegation matters !

I can see AP winning the champions league but probably with the likes of Barca or Bayern M when they come knocking

It's one thing to win the Champions League.

But we mustn't lose concentration, or won't retain it.

For that reason, Messi will have to go because all the agents will be whispering in his ear.

"Your flat has doubled in value since you moved in," they'll say, "Gipsy Hill was an up and coming area, but, to be perfectly honest Lionel, there's never been a better time to sell. And I'm not just saying that because I want the commission."

The thought of easy money will turn Lionel Messi's head and his thoughts won't be on the crunch games Palace are likely to face.

When the other players discover that he's got a flat in SE19, they won't be happy either.

We never had this problem with Bobby Kennard.

Palace should be aiming to win the World Cup, or all this is pointless.

For the last 25 years I have been a fair weather supporter. I've not sat and watched the club on a Tuesday while they are losing to Accrington Stanley in the Mickey Mouse Trophy or purchased the replica shirt every year. In fact I think I got about 8 years (as puberty stalled a bit) out of the 2002-2003 replica shirt. My dad used to take me to one game a season, and I think we even stopped going for a couple of years after a defeat against Birmingham City where it rained on us a bit in the lower Holmesdale. In recent years I have started going as many times as three games a season (one season I even went four times!!!!!!) and generally only go when we've been on a bit of a winning streak. I mainly target the big games like our last home game against Brighton and the playoff finals and FA Cup Final. I've managed to go largely because of the kindness of other Palace fans and the occasional adhoc purchases of silver memberships. I didn't buy a membership this year because I had a lot of expense buying my first house and getting married and whilst I could afford the membership, I wasn't sure I'd be able to afford to go to many games.

I'm not going to jump the gun, but if Palace get into the Champions League next season I might consider a silver membership. That's assuming none of you will lend me your season ticket client refs. Don't want to push it, but if any of you have property in Italy, Spain, France or Germany could I also stay in your gaff when Palace play there too? Saves me paying for a hotel room.

Cheers then everyone,

Love, Palace's most loyal fan.

Me too! What's your second team?

While we're at it Oh This Bloody , why would you settle for an oligarch when we're clearly pushing on to bigger and better things?

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

Duh! Whoever's top of the league... man city at the moment (great they have the same song as palace now so I don't get confused) I am proper football fan though. I sky plus match of the day every week and watch all of palaces games on the telly :-)

My second team is Corinthian Casuals. It used to be Dulwich Hamlet (after there was a Guardian article about them being a hipsters team that sold craft beer in the club shop and supported good causes) but I saw an article somewhere that Corinthian Casuals (which inspired the Brazilian mega club of the same name) is currently the most hip 'non fashionable' team.
