Afternoon chaps. For those looking for beers in Southampton then in and around the city centre there's Yates which is pretty much an away fans pub, the Spitfire which is a two minute walk away from Yates and is a mixed pub, practically opposite KFC and if you continue heading past The Spitfire you come to London Road which has the Giddy Bridge Wetherspoons.

Enjoy.

Always go to Shamrock quay marina when down at Southampton . For anyone just wanting a few beers and a bit of tucker away from the maddening crowd its the place to go .Ten minute walk to the ground

Good shout, Southampton's really good for away fans, most of the pubs and bars are very hospitable.

Cheers guys. I'm currently staying with a friend in Portswood - any ideas on how long that takes to walk(they said 40minutes)? Also, are we in full force today? Very excited.

Hi mate, you're best getting a bus from Portswood to the city centre, from there it's a maximum of 10 minutes walk. Get to Yates in city centre and follow the crowd when they head to the stadium, the pub will start emptying at 7.15ish.
