I've been firmly behind chunky since he was appointed. But now I'm personally giving him the next three games to prove he's not a broken record. No excuses for not getting a point today. Consistent mistakes aren't by accident. We were debating with others who could step into the fold after the game, should the worst (or best for some of you) happen. Klinsman. No. Tactics Tim. I could think of no other suitable candidate until someone else mentioned his name. Made perfect sense. The reasoning should be obvious. It was to me anyway. Unless you bright sparks have any other suggestions? And sticking with chunky emotive connection to the club gives me more time than any other manager in history despite my terrible competitive record in 2016 is not an option for this discussion. Also if you dig around likely to be no worse than some of Tony's past indiscretions I'd rather Allardyce than stick with the sentimental option and go down

We need someone akin to Pulis. Comes in, cleans up our defense and makes us hard to break down, then - when he will difer from pulis, with our attacking threat, know how to utilize it to achieve the best results. Bruce would have been perfect but that boat sailed. Fat Sam is no different to pulis and is such a character it would distract from our club. We need an incognito manager, tired of the holloways, dowies' and pardews getting coverage for non result reasons. Gary Monk wasn't too and at all, but, interesting why he isn't in work now. I honestly wanted to see Freedman at Celtic to see how he faired.
This was once a quality forum.... |
