Exactly my point.

If Pardew is relieved of his duties I hope that we don't go down the road of another ex player as manager.
We've been there and done that.
Big Sam is not for me and many others think the same. Having looked at all the names on the website I would like to throw another name into the hat. Laurent Blanc. I believe he's still out of work. Certainly knows the game and would definitely sort out our defensive mishaps.

I will end my life, the lives of my family and friends and half the people in my street if we appoint another ex-player.

Lets have a winner in charge. Whether as a player or a manager but someone who is used to winning things.

Frank De Boer, Gary Neville...

I think if we had someone of Claudio Ranieri calibre we would be fine. He has a great manner both to his team and the press....AND he gets results unlike our own arrogant pig headed manager at present who does everything but use his brain in sussing out why we are losing so many points. I doubt he even spends a lot of time at the training ground to be honest as we still keep on making the same old mistakes time after time. If he rolled his sleeves up and did the job he is paid to do things could be much better and we would not have threads like this!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

Good point, perhaps the team is left to it's own devices on too many occasions, while Pards plays away.

Winning things as a player doesn't mean you will make even a half decent manager for crying out loud. Neville off the list. Said before I don't want someone coming here and using our club as their guinea pig. If it goes wrong we are down

You think mine does, I think yours does.

One simple question for you... If our piss poor run continues past Christmas, are you still going to back Mr Wonderful ?

thing is danny...i dont really care if we go down as i love the championship, it would piss me off at the time but i would very quickly be over it. i will support palace whatever league were in, as lets be honest, the premierships bulls*** really.

but i suppose if we were trouble early march i would agree weneed a change, even if i didnt want it..it wont happen tho as we will be fine

Unless my memory is playing tricks Pardew was fined £60,000 and banned from the ground for headbutting a Hull player and he also referred to Manuel Pellegrini as a f***ing old c*** on camera

What he did was stupid and out of order and he doesn't come across as particularly pleasant. However he is and has been for some time getting help so unless there's a repeat he should get some slack.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

For real??? Bit bloody late to take action in March when the season ends in May and it could be mathematically impossible to make up the points needed to get safe. Shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted comes to mind

This.

I would have Allardyce - had he not been caught engaging in some seriously dodgy business while barely installed as manager of the national team.

It's quite sad that so many are willing to completely overlook this. I know football is full of corruption and greed, but that doesn't mean we have to go along with it. Have some f*cking standards people.

EDIT: I'll add that, thankfully, I trust Parish not to go there.

You can bet your bottom dollar the papers have more dirt on what he was getting up to which they are sitting on until the time is right to drag it all up again.

not really...if a new manager would be as amazing as some people think then 6 games would be enough to stay up as there zero chance we would be cut adfift as were to good for that.

Don't be so sure about that.
